Terms of Service & KYC/AML Policy

Welcome to Lía Gems & Jewellery. By accessing our platform and making inquiries or purchases, you agree to comply with the following terms and international trade regulations.

Unique Single-Item Inventory

Every gemstone listed on Lía Gems & Jewellery is a unique, natural, one-of-a-kind specimen. Stock quantities are strictly limited to one (1) per item. In the event that multiple international buyers request the same gemstone simultaneously, priority will be granted to the buyer whose identity and funds are verified first.

Know Your Customer (KYC) & Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance

In strict compliance with the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) of Sri Lanka and global Anti-Money Laundering regulations, Lía Gems & Jewellery enforces mandatory identity verification for high-value transactions:

  • Any transaction or offer exceeding $1,000 USD requires the buyer to submit a valid government-issued ID or Passport.
  • Corporate entities must provide their business registration licenses prior to final invoice settlement.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any request or hold shipments if buyer verification fails to meet regulatory standards.
